What should be an afternoon of target shooting turned out to be one for calorie splurging. 
After a relatively long walk from Ortigas Home Depot to SM Megamall on a hot summer day, my friend and I decided to go on a food trip to compensate for our lost energy. haha. We decided to get some meat at Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak and here are my quick shots, seconds before we consumed it all.

Dragon Carving
This year, I was fortunate enough to celebrate Chinese New Year at the Manila China Town in Binondo, Manila. It was a great experience for me because 1) it was my first time to be in that part of Manila (believe it or not, in my 4 years here) and 2) it was my first time to have a photowalk with my new colleagues (I just hit my 3rd month with the company a couple of days ago).

The day was filled with walking (hence the term photowalk..LOL), and I got to witness revelry in the streets. I also got to eat dimsum and dumplings for free (success!).

Sodam Korean Restaurant
While helping my sister with pictures for her layout, we had some time to spare and decided some sushi from Sodam Korean Restaurant. It is located inside the Casino Filipino hotel in Goldenfield Commercial Complex. We wanted to see how they do it, to which the chef gamely obliged. It wasn’t the exactly the most inexpensive one I’ve had, but definitely one of the best. The 2-person crew (one chef and one cashier/server) were nice too, which is definitely a plus. They were very patient while two characters were shooting away at them. LOL
