When you’re in the tri-state area, do check out the bus tours that travel from NY to other states like Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. You can google Go-To Bus and see the schedules and packages they offer.
We chose the 2-day, 3-state tour that included drop-offs at Philadelphia, Washington DC, Virginia (specifically, the Shenandoah Caverns) and Baltimore. It cost around 70 bucks, but they had a promo that time, buy 2 free 1, so we got it for less since there were three of us to divide the whole amount. And the price included the hotel, too. Neat huh?
Some of the landmarks we went to are:
Philadelphia - Old Independence Hall, Liberty Bell Center
Washington DC – National Museum of Natural History, US Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Madame Tussauds
Virginia – Shenandoah Caverns
Check out some of the photos I got while on the trip.
Do check out my posts featuring the Shenandoah Caverns and the Hope Diamond (taken at the Museum of Natural History) in my blog, The Camera Bug.

that is what’s nice with a bus tour, you get to see and stop by many places to take photos of.
well, it’s not without its cons…you literally to take as much pics as you can in, say, half an hour because of the whole trip is pre-scheduled…all in all, it’s still pretty neat…
