Trying Out His New Lens

New Canon lens

After days and nights of deliberation and talking to himself from Manila to Bacolod, my brother has finally decided on the lens to buy for his new Canon D70 camera. Don’t ask me what it is because I don’t know. All I know is that he could shoot wide angles already, as compared that 50mm thingy that he first bought.

Anyway, here he is, about an hour later from when he bought it. I took this photo with my trusty Sony Cybershot, while he was taking a photo of the signage of Sodam Korean Restaurant. It is located at the second floor of Casino Filipino Hotel.

Better Quality Travel Photos

Now that we are trying to fill up this blog about our Trips and Travels, you will realize that my brother has better looking travel photographs, like in his post about Tagaytay.

Well, that is because my brother uses a Nikon DSLR with lots of filters and lenses. While I, on the other hand, use a Sony cybershot digital camera. He was actually the one who bought it for me when my old Nikon digicam broke.

I am fine with it, especially because it is small and I can just carry it around. No extra baggage. But of course, the downside is, it is difficult to take photos of moving subjects and well, needless to say, the quality is not that sharp.

So do not wonder why my brother’s photos look better than mine. At least that’s settled. Even if you do not see the byline, you will know it’s my brother’s handiwork.

Actually he also has a travel photography blog called, The Camera Bug. You may want to check it out.
